Stock at fulfillment
Finished goods first, then the BOM.
When an order ships, BuildMRP uses finished stock if you have it, otherwise takes the components from the BOM — so stock stays right without manual counts.
Cost push
Your true cost, in Shopify.
Each variant's cost is updated in Shopify from the BOM roll-up, so the margins in your Shopify reports are real.

Does it change my storefront?
No. BuildMRP reads orders and products and only writes variant cost.
What Shopify plan do I need?

What about products with no BOM?
They're flagged "No BOM" on the order so you can add one.
